Access to CBC facilities is granted to members and nonmembers for specific purposes to support ministering to the congregation. Access is provided through physical keys or through the access control system and must be approved by authorized individuals as described in this policy document.
Physical keys are not be issued to members. Generally, staff, including the custodian, deacons, and elders along with other select ministry leads who require access to supplies within the facility should be the only groups authorized to access via physical key. All other individuals will be granted access via our access control system.
Ministry leads must specify access requirements in the form of days and hours which are allowed for their ministry.
Access to CBC facilities is a privilege that may be revoked at any time. Access will be automatically revoked when an individual's ministry affiliation changes or when they are no longer involved in ministry at CBC. In addition, access may be revoked or suspended for any of the following reasons:
Violation of CBC policies and procedures
Unsafe or disruptive behavior
Failure to comply with access requirements or restrictions
Inappropriate use of CBC facilities
Unauthorized access or attempts to circumvent security measures
If you have any questions or concerns regarding this policy or your access to CBC facilities, please contact the CBC office or your ministry lead. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all members and visitors, and appreciate your cooperation in following this policy.
